The girls grew up watching their 75-year-old grandpa working out while sipping his tea from freshly picked dandelions. Their mother’s dedication to nutrient-dense, fresh foods deeply inspired both Jenya and Leese, instilling in them a lifelong commitment to wellness.

Once a mother herself, Jenya made it her mission to teach her son the importance of quality ingredients and their profound impact on energy, happiness, and mental clarity. Her dedication knew no bounds—spending Sundays making homemade ice pops for daycare to ensure her son wasn’t given anything with questionable ingredients. Sometimes, her devotion bordered on obsessive, like when she discreetly wiped artificial blue icing off his slice of birthday cake at other kids’ parties. For Jenya, compromising on clean, wholesome ingredients was never an option.

Leese brought her sharp creative vision and storytelling skills from her film editing career into the mix. As a fellow mother, she shared Jenya’s frustration with the unhealthy ingredients saturating popular drinks on the market. The sisters saw a glaring gap in the market—a lack of clean, high-quality hydration options for active individuals—and decided it was time to create their own solution. And so, Rebel Aid was born.
